How Mobi Expert collects, uses and protects your personal data. Compliant with Law 25 (Québec) and the GDPR (the European General Data Protection Regulation).
1. Data controller
Mobi Expert, located at 1455 rue Peel #122, Montréal, QC H3A 1T5, acts as the controller of the data collected through this site.

2. Data collected
We collect only the data that is strictly necessary:
- Contact form: name, email, phone (optional), message.
- Appointment booking: name, phone, device (optional), selected issue, preferred date (optional).
- Technical data: no behavioural analytics or advertising trackers installed. The site sets no non-essential cookies.
3. Purposes of processing
- Respond to your contact or appointment request.
- Coordinate and confirm the appointment.
- Keep you informed of the repair status (part order, appointment date, warranty).
- Meet our legal and accounting obligations.
4. Technical subprocessors
We use the following services, chosen for their compliance with data protection requirements:
- Resend — delivery of transactional emails (contact form, appointment request).
- Vercel Inc. — site hosting (United States).
- OpenStreetMap — display of the location map (loaded on demand). Directions links open Google Maps in a new tab, at your initiative.
No other third party receives your data. No data is sold or rented.
5. Retention period
- Contact form data: 12 months from the last exchange.
- Repair-related data: 6 years (legal accounting retention period in Canada).
6. Your rights
In accordance with Law 25 and the GDPR, you have the following rights over your data:
- Access and a copy of your data.
- Correction or update.
- Deletion (except where accounting retention is legally required).
- Objection to or restriction of processing.
- Portability (export of your data).

7. Security
Your data is stored on secure servers with systematic HTTPS encryption. No online payment is processed by the site — payments are made directly in the shop.
8. Cookies
This site uses no tracking cookies and no advertising cookies. Only technical cookies strictly essential to the operation of the site may be set, in accordance with the exception provided by the applicable legislation.
9. Minors
The site is not intended for people under 14. If you are under 14, ask a parent or legal guardian before submitting your data.
10. Changes
This policy may be updated to reflect legal or technical developments. The date of the last update is shown below.
11. Complaints
If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (Québec's access-to-information commission) (cai.gouv.qc.ca) or with the data protection authority of your country of residence.
